The time has finally come! We start our GREASE crochet-a-long (CAL) today! Every Monday a new panel will be released here on my blog. If you want to participate and have your own copy of the patterns for the panels and appliques to be released “mystery style”, you will need to head on over to my Ravelry store and purchase your own copy. Every Monday after the release on my blog, your copy of the pattern within your Ravelry library will update automatically with the new pieces for the week. Let’s get started!

Let’s get the party started with a little Pink Ladies tribute! Obviously we couldn’t have a Grease graphgan without a little Pink Ladies jacket lettering on it. The sparkle in this Hobby Lobby I Love This Yarn Metallic Pinky Toes Sparkle gives it just the right sheen to mimic the shine on those iconic jackets. Now, this is one of the larger panels, so don’t be daunted by it’s size. The rest will seem like a breeze after this one!

I will be working this graphgan up using Hobby Lobby’s I Love This Yarn, my fantabulous set of custom ergonomic GREASE THEMED hooks by the ever-talented Chloe Rebecca Boutique (you can find her on IG here or her ETSY page here), and my go-to graphgan technique–mini corner to corner (mini c2c). These hooks are exclusive and limited only to those participating in the CAL with us!!! Details on how to order your own hooks are available in your pattern download.
